Stellar and mtex provide the core technology for Skynopy’s live demonstration at the International Space Summit in Paris

Mobile ground segment for satellite tracking beneath the dome of the Grand Palais in Paris
Wiesbaden/Paris, 09 September 2026 – Skynopy, the French startup providing ground-station-as-a-service, has been selected by the organizing team of the International Space Summit, led by the French government, to present a live demonstration of mobile satellite tracking at the summit on 9 and 10 September 2026 at the Grand Palais in Paris. For this event, Skynopy is teaming with its two German technological partners: Stellar Professional Communication Systems (Stellar PCS) and mtex antenna technology (mtex).
The three companies will together demonstrate a high-precision mobile ground segment capable of supporting a variety of satellite mission. The technical and visual centerpiece of the demonstration is a 2.4-meter high-precision antenna manufactured by mtex, integrated into Stellar PCS’s mobile system platform. Stellar and mtex are bringing the hardware and systems expertise to the demonstration. This includes the high-precision antenna, radio frequency (RF) technology, antenna dynamics, structural mechanics and industrial series production capacities. Skynopy completes the system with its multi-mission software, network architecture and operational services.
Skynopy sells ground station access as a service: instead of building and operating their own antennas, satellite operators book contact time on Skynopy’s network through a single interface. The company’s software plans and runs each of those contacts across the whole network and delivers the data to wherever the customer needs it. At the Grand Palais, Skynopy is demonstrating that highly scalable service, which serves a wide variety of satellites and constellations.

This is what we demonstrate together with Skynopy in Paris.”

The collaboration behind this demonstration represents the first building block of a partnership between Skynopy, Stellar PCS, and mtex. The three companies are already working on further joint projects to offer reliable and strong European ground segment solutions.
